Bit & Bridle Fitting
The bit is a tool we use for training and communicating with our horses. Like any tool, the right one makes the job a lot easier; and the wrong one can really slow things down.
During a bit & bridle fitting, I will help you take the guesswork out of bits and bridles, so you can feel confident knowing you have the perfect tool to help you accomplish your training and competition goals.
Sport/Performance
The sport horse’s body is subject to high levels of stress and strain throughout training and competition. Sport horse performance sessions are specialized to reduce body soreness and promote recovery throughout training and showing. Consistent sessions can also improve range of motion, stride length, and prevent injury.
Rehabilitation
Working closely with your veterinarian, adding a rehabilitation professional to your horse’s team can reduce scar tissue formation, prevent re-injury, and facilitate return to sport.
With a wide range of modalities in my tool box, I am well equipped to help promote healing of soft tissue injuries, fractures, lacerations, post-operative, and more.
FES
FES (Functional Electrical Stimulation) helps restore full range of motion, strengthen muscles, activate the neuromuscular system, and relax tight muscles.
Extremely effective for horses with poorly developed or tight toplines, and to preserve muscle for horses on stall rest due to injury or surgery.
Indiba
Indiba (radiofrequency) provides fast, non-invasive relief for sore muscles, tight and achy joints, and helps accelerate tissue healing and recovery.
A highly sought-after modality by vets, physios, and professional athletes throughout the UK and Europe, I am pleased to be one of the only equine providers of this technology in the US.
Equipment Rental
For horses needing a little extra help, rental PEMF, laser, therapeutic ultrasound, and exercise equipment is available to current clients. These client specific machines either have locking settings, or will be pre-programed with detailed instructions for use.
Starting at $100/week
Virtual Services
If I am unable to travel to your location, I offer virtual bit fitting consultations, as well as virtual rehab planning to fellow equine professionals.
